Tattoo design 左手腕上有神明

It started with a tiny daily ritual of mine.

「Tattoo for the day」

From 2010 to 2013, I went trough my depression stage. Back at that time, gradually I established a habit of drawing one simple pattern on my left wrist by ink pen to cheer myself up.
It’s handy, simple, improvising and with no side effect (compared to Efexor XR). And (surprisingly) it turned out helpful.
This simple ritual kept reminding myself that I still possessed the ability to create something, even during the time when I regarded myself as a totally worthless exsistence.
Every time I feel depressed, I grab a pen and draw something on the skin. Then I can feel that I’m alive.

Later on, I started to draw patterns for friends. In Jan 10th, 2017, I got a chance to showcase my tattoos in RAW art fair and also draw tattoo for audiences there.
Meeting and observing people, feeling the texture of the skin and leaving a footnote on their wrists in 3 minutes, based on their first impression on me ---- all of these are intuitive, inspiring and enjoyable for me.

Sandplgy Therapy

After that event, I decided to make tattoo stickers out of those patterns to share with people in a more convenient way. I branded it as “Sandplay Therapy” because initially it was a therapy for myself.
